| First Aid Volunteers are an important
part of the Seaplane Base whose duties include: Provide basic level first aid to those that request it. Basic first aid includes Basic Life Support with use of A.E.D. if properly trained. Understand procedures for requesting an ambulance. Being familiar with available equipment, including where it is stored and make periodic checks to ensure equipment is in working order. Knowing the procedures of the Seaplane Base Emergency drill, including the layout of the Seaplane Base, including the general parking area, campground, trails, road and bus stop area. Volunteers manning the First Aid Station must provide a copy of their medical credentials to the Volunteer Coordinator prior to their first shift. |
